Our Interview Week

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12


Can words even begin the describe our week in Texas? Let me just try... Awesome, enlightening, frightening, challenging, evoking, emotional, life changing, numbing, overwhelming, humbling.

Needless to say we were a wreck.

I don't know what we went in expecting, but we were unprepared for the spiritual battle that took place. Satan was working overtime trying to create doubt in our minds. Not to mention our own battle between our flesh wanting to remain comfortable in our present cirumstances and the Spirit challenging us to so much more.

We went there expecting to be dissappointed by Texas but sure about Gospel for Asia... but we left liking Texas (yes, that IS possible) and unsure about everything else...

By the end of the week, Gospel for Asia had extended a official invitation to us to join their staff, but with a mutual understanding that we needed more time to seek the Lord and be SURE of his calling. And so home we went to seek the Lord...
