This last Sunday, we had the privelege of speaking at Calvary Chapel Woodland. Pastor Doug and his congregation received us with open arms and hearts. We were blessed beyond measure as many showed interest in standing behind us financially and being a part of what the Lord has called us to. Praise the Lord for his provision and Thank You CCWoodland!Today, Jan. 8, 2008, is the day we were originally set to close escrow. But in God's infinite wisdom He saw fit to change our plans a bit - knowing that we needed more time to raise the remainder of our support -no doubt. With our home now back on the market, our faith is definitely being challenged daily! We now have just 25% more to raise (possibly less, after this weekend!) ! We are so close ... !
We are growing increasingly anxious to move forward with the next chapter of our lives. As are our kids. They've been troopers during this whole ordeal- but now they are beginning to grow extremely weary of the "house selling process". They officially have been introduced and well versed in a whole new vocabulary. Real estate words and phrases like "showings", "a
gents", "buyers market", "fell out of escrow", "staging" etc....roll off their little tongues frequently. Causing Sean and I to chuckle often in the midst of an otherwise very stressful time. Thank God for children. Even Mikaela ( our 2 year old) has ritualistically began praying for "Mama's house to sell". Why it's considered just "Mama's" house... I'm not quite sure...
